Classes

1. CrossFit

An effective way to improve ones overall fitness and health.  Focusing on “constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movement”.  Anyone can do it.  It is a fitness program that combines a wide variety of functional movements into a timed or scored workout. We do pull-ups, squats, push-ups, weightlifting, gymnastics, running, rowing, biking and a host of other movements.  Each workout will develop the 10 recognized general physical skills. They are cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. You are as fit as you are competent in each of these 10 skills.

Equipment used:  Barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, med-balls, plyo box, pull-up bars, rowers, Assault bikes, ropes, jump ropes.

2. Boot Camp

Get back into exercise and fitness with our boot camp class.  These group sessions, which focus on interval training and functional movements like push-ups, squats, sprints, and sit-ups, provide a killer workout and a chance to sweat outside the gym.  Sessions involve a warm-up and cool-down, bodyweight exercises, running, stretching, relays, and exercises with a partner.

Equipment used:  Dumbbells, kettlebells, med-balls, plyo box, TRX, rowers, Assault bikes, ropes, jump ropes.

3. Weightlifting

If you are an Olympic lifter looking for a solid strength building program to improve your Oly Total, or a CrossFitter wanting to spend some time as an Olympic Lifter and build your total, this program is for you. You will improve your weightlifting technique and become more efficient – leading to new PR’s!  The sessions can be added as a supplement to your current training program, or used as a stand-alone program.
